This annual event is the 
Forth Saturday in April

Saturday, April 26, 2008 starting at 9 a.m.

Annual Yesterfest Celebration in Historic Downtown Bastrop. 
Celebrate Bastrop’s early cultures, including African, Mexican, Indian, German, Czech, Scottish, and early Western heritage. 
There will be games from days gone by, historic recreations and demonstrations, live music, tours of historic homes by covered wagon, pony & hay rides, arts & crafts, children’s activities, and fun for the whole family!  You can even dress for the era.

Driving directions from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin.

On State Highway 71, head EAST to Bastrop.  It's about 24 miles from the airport entrance to Bastrop. 

Exit Loop 150. 

AFTER you pass McDonald's and Walmart get in the left hand lane and turn left at the light at Loop 150. 

After crossing over the bridge (Colorado River) turn LEFT at the next traffic light onto Main Street

Go one block and turn RIGHT onto Spring Street

The theater is in the middle of the block on your RIGHT, at 711 Spring Street.  Parking is available on the street, in the parking lot across the street (courtesy of First National Bank of Bastrop), and behind the Opera House.
